The Blurb

Hello again PLP students. The blurb this week is simply a thank you. Thank you for your patience and cooperation with us in this time of staff transition. Obviously, things have been different without Jacqui and Kristen. We greatly appreciate how you have been using the appointment sheets on our doors. THANK YOU! Please continue to use them! Even if you’re just popping in to say hello—note those times when we’re available so you don’t miss us—and as always, please continue to come say hi! Feel free to leave us a note or check out the welcome table. Thanks everyone!

The Encouragement

Okay, please forgive the lack of encouragement last week…sometimes it just seems so hard to find it. We don’t want to offer you the typical and sometimes cheesy leadership quotes to inspire you or cause your eyes to roll. We want to meet you where you are, truly encourage you, make you think, and let you know we care about you and your life. Times may seem tough right now and we understand that, we’re in it too. Throughout this semester we want to remind you that you have been afforded the opportunities to be at least OKAY in life…and you will be, and probably more than that. And even when you want to fear and cling and freak…appreciate what you’ve got, trust, and keep giving to what you believe in.

The encouragement this week: remember what you love about being here, acknowledge it, and take a moment to appreciate it. And smile.
