PLP Council - Juniors
Hey PLP Juniors,
I am writing to you today with an amazing opportunity to get involved with PLP! My name is Liz Kates and I am the chairperson of the PLP Council. We have already been busy this year working to set precedents and adapt policies and procedures to better suit the needs of PLP students.
Unfortunately, your class is underrepresented on the Council and may not be receiving the representation that you all deserve. We started the year with two representatives from your class; however, one person has since decided to resign. We want the voice of the PLP junior class to be heard and are opening this seat for a limited amount of time. We will be accepting applications until Thursday October 2, which is exactly ONE WEEK from today! Please consider applying to the Council as it is a great way to get involved in and change the future of the President’s Leadership Program.
If you are interested, please attend our next open meeting: Tuesday September 30, at 9pm in room 208 of the Trible Library (one of the classrooms upstairs). Then, fill out the attached application electronically and e-mail it to matthew.creasy@cnu.edu. Please also CC this message to Elizabeth.kates.05@cnu.edu.
Should you have any questions, feel free to contact me at Elizabeth.kates.05@cnu.edu or contact our PR chair, Kayla Lupino, via the AIM screenname PLPCouncil.
We look forward to receiving your applications!
Liz Kates
